I replaced the factory 2GB ram with module 8GBx2 G.Skill DDR3 1600 CL11 (188.8.131.52) 1.5v for laptop/Mac ram (SO-DIMM RAM) and its working well.

Could work… can’t guarantee it though – if possible you should buy it from somewhere with a good return policy… in case it doesn’t work.
I think this will not work. The memory that was installed in this NAS was not DDR3L but DDR3. The voltage of this memory is different, which often gives errors.
