  1. I replaced the factory 2GB ram with module 8GBx2 G.Skill DDR3 1600 CL11 (11.11.11.28) 1.5v for laptop/Mac ram (SO-DIMM RAM) and its working well.

    1. I think this will not work. The memory that was installed in this NAS was not DDR3L but DDR3. The voltage of this memory is different, which often gives errors.

      1. •DDR3L is a dual voltage capable memory SoDIMM, which supports operation at both 1.5V and 1.35V.

  3. Removing the original 2Gb dim an replacing it with the 8Gb modell KVR1333D3S9/8G works fine. Box reports 8Gb.
