VS Code Marketplace

Ctrl-Q QVD Viewer opens QVD files read-only inside VS Code, and shows their data, schema, metadata and lineage in separate tabs.

Highlights

  • Data preview with pagination: 5,000 rows by default, configurable from 100 to 100,000.
  • Field schema, file metadata and lineage information from the QVD file.
  • Profiling of up to three fields at a time, with frequency charts. Statistical, temporal and string analysis are in beta.
  • Export to CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet, XML, YAML or a Qlik inline load script. Arrow, Avro, PostgreSQL and SQLite exports are in beta.
  • Read-only: the original QVD file is never modified.
